Uploaded At: 15 May 2024
Welcome to the Time Capsule Project of Portuguese Geotechnical Society
Portuguese Geotechnical Society (SPG) was formally created in 1972, although it began in the 1950s with the Soil Mechanics Commission of the Order of Engineers, which was led by Professor Manuel Rocha. Since then, SPG has represented ISSMGE, IAEG, ISRM, ITA, and IGS in Portugal.
In 2022, SPG celebrates 50 years of service dedicated to the geotechnical community in Portugal and in the world.
